The bodywork and paintwork are excellent, free from any rust and incase you cant tell from the pictures, this car has an amazingly deep all over shine. Look in all the common areas, the front and rear wheel arch lips, bottom of doors, its all solid and as it should be. The deep shine of the paintwork is complimented by very fresh looking Black trim and 15inch BMW BBS alloys. The wheels are again in excellent shape, as is the unmarked spare. You will notice that all the tyres, including the spare are matching Pirelli. This car stands out wherever is goes and would make an excellent show car. The Black leather interior is as you can see in superb condition. The soft Black leather is still very fresh, just as you would expect on such a low mileage example. This outstanding condition continues in the rest of the interior, from the unmarked carpets, protected by good quality overmats, the perfect dash with none of the cracks and marks you normally see, its all in amazing condition for a car of this age. This stunning BMW 320 has covered only 44,000 miles from new, is completely rust free and original, it comes with a very rare specification. This BMW lead a very unusual, but pampered life. It was originally supplied by BMW Park Lane, a special order for a special customer, a Wing Commander from the RAF. This car was then shipped to Spain where the Commander was serving, looked after by BMW whilst in Spain. It didn't cover many miles, as the Wing Commander was soon supplied with a staff car, so the BMW remained little used and stored until it was imported back to the UK in 2005. Since then it spent 3 years in the UK, before it was purchased by a collector in Ireland. This car then came to me, where I sold it to a very happy owner with 37,000 miles on it. He has enjoyed for the last few years, covering 7000 miles, including 2 trips through France. Anyone who sees this car will quickly realize its something very special. The original Bronze Metallic paintwork is in lovely original condition. The paintwork is excellent, there is no rust on or under this car, all the original arches are still factory solid, excellent chrome work etc. Now the interior is something very special, a very rare special order Olive Green Soft Leather. all in perfect condition. This is complimented by deep pile Brown carpets, with the original BMW overmats, all in excellent unworn condition. This car is in immaculate condition throughout. Starting with the bodywork and paintwork. The Sterling Silver metallic paintwork is in excellent condition. There are no dings or dents, other than the odd minute stone chip etc is absolutely stunning, the paintwork has a deep all over shine, all the Black plastic trim looks like new. This is a very fresh looking BMW, as you would expect for such a low mileage car. All the usual areas that can suffer from rust on not so well looked after examples are completely rust free. There are no rust or rust bubbles at all, all the wheel arches for example are completely solid metal all round. Next the wheels. These are the original BMW 'bottletop' alloys. All wheels including the spare are completely unmarked. Even the centre stickers look like new. All are fitted with excellent tyres. I notice in the last Inspection II Service the rear two tyres have just been replaced, with the correct Goodyear tyres. Next is the interior. This is finished in Anthracite Cloth. As this is the Lux model its has the later pinstripe pattern. Its no exaggeration to say the seats and interior are like new. The seats are all completely unworn and look like new. They even feel like new, the pattern on the seat is still very prominent, something that is the first to wear even on relatively low mileage cars. The carpets are still protected by the original BMW overmats. The car still has the original stereo, which has the electric aerial still working perfectly. The specification on this car includes PAS, Electric windows, Electric sunroof, Electric mirrors, BMW Mini computer etc. Everything works as it should, everything lights up at night as it should. Hopefully that give you some idea how nice this car is. BMW lux coupes don't come up very often in this condition, let alone with this low mileage. Now to the history of the car. We have the original Sales invoice from Scothall BMW, who supplied the car to its first lady owner in May 1990, at a cost of £16,187. She kept the car for 18 years until 2008. Whilst she owned the car it was stored in her garage and only used occasionally. As you can see from the service history breakdown below, she always kept the car serviced and looked after correctly. Initially it was looked after by BMW main dealers until around 5000 miles. Then she used a couple of local, trusted garages, always having the car fully serviced every year, to keep it in perfect running condition. It was then snapped up by another classic car dealer before coming to me in 2009. I then sold it to a collector customer of mine who took it to Ireland, as part of his collection of BMW's, taking the car to local shows etc. 3 years later I have taken the car back against another excellent BMW, the model my customer was originally looking for. We have a folder full of receipts and service records, MOT history, plus a fully stamped service book, all the manuals, all the spare keys. The car is currently shown on Irish number plates. I have already MOT'd the car and has been put back on its original G699 NWW registration, and now has 12 months tax. The engine in this model is the 1.6i 4 cylinder engine combined with an automatic gearbox. This combination gives you plenty of smooth performance, whilst still returning very good fuel consumption. As you would expect for a car thats been looked after correctly, there are no oil leaks etc. The engine starts and runs perfectly, lovely and quiet, the gearbox is very smooth, hot or cold.
